This system will be used by the City to inform our citizens in the event of an emergency. This system will allow us to reach out to the citizens of Weimar to give information regarding evacuations, natural disasters, and other incidents requiring notification for personal safety.
City leaders will also be able to send messages to residents and businesses with specific information such as necessary planned outages and other community matters to keep the public informed.

Citizens can register to receive notifications by phone, email, and/or text by going to the CodeRED or City of Weimar website. If you do not have internet access, you can call the City of Weimar at 979-725-8554 for registration. (If you previously registered with the Blackboard Connect service, you will need to re-register with CodeRED.)
