Battery/Cellphone Collection Program

The City of Weimar now has a collection box located in City Hall to recycle dry cell rechargeable batteries and cell phones.

We can accept:

Rechargeable batteries

• Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
• Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
• Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
• Nickel Zinc (Ni-Zn)
• Small Sealed Lead Acid (SSLA/Pb)

Single-use (such as alkaline)

• AA, AAA, 9V, C, D and button cells

All makes and models of cellphones (with or without their batteries)

We CANNOT accept:

Wet cell batteries
